PRACTICING Stitching with beads
Four tips can help in stitching with beads.

The first one is to use a needle specific to beads: tapestry needle are normally too thick to pass thru the holes of beads.

Beading needles are long and fine to get thru easily. Normally they are sharp so be carefully not to damage the fabric, the threads or simply the fingers. Blunt point beading needle solve the problems.
Cod 40220 sharp long needle - Cod. JJ10710b short blunt needle).

Use a needle threader: as the eye of the needle is very fine is not easy to thread it. Needle- threader is a small ring of metallic thread fixed to a small piece of plastic to be kept between forefinger and thumb. Thread the metallic thread thru the needle'eye, put the thread into the ring the pull out the ring from the eye. The metallic thread carry the thread thru the eye.
(cod. MHNT Needle Threader; Cod. MHNTC Needle threader with cutter).

Use a "sticky finger": it's a plastic film shaped to roll around the forefinger of the hand you don't use to stitch. The outer part of the material is adhesive in order to collect easily the beads and thread them easily.
It can be used several times.
(Cod. SCCSF pack of three pieces).

Alternatively you can use an adhesive tape: beads are made of glass and can't be damage by adhesive. Wrap a piece of tape with adhesive part outside around your forefinger, then grasp the beads from the bead caddy.

A bead caddy is another very easy instrument: they have several compartment clear or with clear lids to easily find the beads (Cod. BC-6 small caddy - BC-13 big caddy)
