MOST FREQUENT MISTAKES TO BE AVOID
One of the most frequent mistake is not to stitch all the crosses in the same direction.
Pay always attention to stitch all the lower diagonals in the same direction and the upper ones' at the opposite
We suggest to stitch by orizontal rows stitching all the lower diagonal in the choosen color. Then go back crossing with the same color. Each cross crossed in a wrong way will be very visible as light will reflects this stitch in a different way.
Rolled up threads are another way to evaluate the quality of the embroidery. This is more difficult to avoid but there are some tricks to use helping in keeping very flat stitches.

This tecnique borrowed by quilters is that one to thread the needle into the fabric with forefinger instead of following the needle to complete the stitch.
Railroading: If the quilter's trick is not enough to keep the stitches flat, try to split the thread on the needle and thread the needle among these threads for few stitches. You can use this tecnique every time you become aware the thread starts rolling, or for the complete embroidery to obtain excellent results. In such a way the plies of thread run in a complete parallel way, keeping the embroidery "flat" and homogeneous even improving the covering of the thread.
Make the needle fall down: It's good habit to make the needle fall down each 6 or 8 stitches: the weight of the needle will untwist the torsion of the thread.
